1. Eligibility Policy

- Stay.mv is a platform for: Everyone.


2. Booking Policy

- All bookings made through STAY are subject to availability and confirmation from the property.

- Users must enter accurate details when booking (guest names, contact info, check-in/check-out dates).

- Properties require advance payments or deposits as per their individual policies.


3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

- Each property sets its own cancellation policy. Please review the cancellation terms listed on the room or package before booking.

- Refunds (if applicable) will follow the property’s refund rules and timelines.

- STAY does not charge cancellation fees but is not responsible for delays in refunds from the property side.


4. Payment Policy

- Payments may be made online via secure channels or directly to the property depending on the booking type.

- Some listings may require full or partial prepayment to confirm the reservation.

- Currency used is Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), unless stated otherwise.


5. Local & Expat Rate Policy

- Special local and expat rates are available only to users who meet the eligibility criteria.

- Users may be asked to show a valid Maldivian ID or work permit/passport at check-in to enjoy these discounted rates.

- If verification fails, the property may charge the standard (non-local) rate.


6. Check-in & Documentation Policy

- Guests must provide valid ID/passport at check-in, along with the booking confirmation.

- Properties may refuse check-in if documentation does not match booking eligibility.


7. Property Listing & Transparency Policy

- STAY only lists verified rental-rooms, guesthouses, hotels, and resort offers across the Maldives.

- All property details, photos, amenities, transfer fees, and guest requirements are clearly displayed on listings.

- We do not tolerate misleading listings or fake offers. Properties must keep their information up to date.


8. Guest Conduct Policy

- Guests are expected to follow the house rules and local laws of the place they stay.

- Disrespectful behavior, damage to property, or violation of property rules may lead to cancellation or blacklisting from STAY


9. Privacy Policy

- We collect only the data necessary to process bookings and improve your experience.

- Your data will never be sold to third parties.


10. Support & Dispute Resolution Policy

STAY will assist in resolving any disputes fairly between guests and properties.
